Payment Policy
At Obliq3, we believe in transparency and clarity regarding our payment terms. Payment terms do not apply to free events. Please be aware that costs are incurred from the time of registration as we book leaders, hosts, and space based on the number of registrants. Therefore, cancellation and withdrawal fees may be applicable.
- General Terms and Conditions: All transactions and business interactions with Obliq3 are subject to our General Terms and Conditions.
- Payment and Enrollment: Payment for workshops, coaching and mentoring can be made using Visa or MasterCard or PayPal via our online systems or through bank transfer or e-transfer for Canadian customers. By completing an online purchase, you authorize Obliq3 to immediately charge your method of payment. Obliq3 reserves the right to cancel or reschedule dates at our discretion without prior notice. In such cases, we will contact you to discuss alternative options.
- Buyer’s Right to Cancel: You have the right to cancel your enrollment and potentially receive a refund by sending a written notice via email to admin@obliq3.com. All cancellation, withdrawal, or transfer notices will be acknowledged via email within five (5) business days. Please note that not attending a registered program does not constitute a valid cancellation. Failure to attend without a valid reason, may result in forfeiture of the full program fee.
- Cancellation and Refund Fees: Refunds are processed monthly and credited to the original payment method used during purchase. To cancel a program, written notification must be received at least 15 days before the course start date. Administrative charges of $50 will be applied to all cancellations.
- Program Withdrawal: Withdrawal from a course after it has begun will result in forfeiture of the full program fee. Cancellation fees apply as outlined above.
- Right of Refusal: Obliq3 reserves the right to refuse participation in a program and to remove any participant who disrupts the learning environment. Participants may also be denied attendance for non-payment. Removal from or voluntary withdrawal from a program will be handled according to our withdrawal policies.
- Accredited Programs: Any accredited programs must fulfill all requirements within the specified timeframe to graduate. Missing components may be made up at the discretion of program leads, with additional fees applied as outlined for specific programs.
- Feedback Processes: Feedback from clients and participants is collected formally through surveys and informally through regular check-ins with program leads and consultants. An anonymous feedback link is also available for participants, contractors, and trainers at any time.
Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Policy:
The purpose of our Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Policy is to reaffirm our commitment to creating a diverse and inclusive environment that aligns with ethical and legal standards in coaching, mentoring, learning and consulting
- Principles: This policy aims to promote diversity, equality, human dignity, and inclusion in all interactions and decision-making processes.
- Foster a culture that embraces equity, diversity, inclusion, and belonging.
- Address biases, beliefs, assumptions, and stereotypes that hinder opportunities in the learning environment.
- Promote positive and inclusive attitudes towards each other.
- Maintain environments free of discrimination and harassment and inclusive of all individuals.
- Include perspectives and voices of underrepresented groups in all activities.
Code of Conduct:
We strictly prohibit any form of bullying or discriminatory behavior within our programs. Any allegations of harassment or bullying are thoroughly investigated by the Obliq3 leadership team, with appropriate disciplinary actions implemented if necessary.
- Ethical Codes and Practices: Our program leaders/coaches/mentors/consultants are required to adhere to the ethical codes and practices of their accrediting organizations, such as the International Coaching Federation (ICF) Code of Ethics or the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC) Global Code of Ethics.
- Diversity and Inclusion Declaration: Obliq3 is committed to addressing societal oppressions and promoting diversity and inclusion in our work. We strive to use inclusive language and practices in all our operations.
- Hiring Practices: We review our hiring and termination patterns to ensure a diverse pool of program personnel and ensure inclusion of our policies and practices within our contracts and agreements, and our partner relationships.
We acknowledge the traditional lands and territories of the Indigenous peoples who have lived on these lands and taken care of them since time immemorial. We are on Treaty 7 territory, as well as, the historical regional homeland of the Métis, which includes the Battle River Territory. We acknowledge and respect the histories, languages, and diverse cultures of the First Nations, Métis, and all First Peoples that have taken care of this land.
